Event overview

Join The Mission Continues, RTX, and local community members for an Impactful Day of Service in Asheville!

We’re excited to kick off our first of two service projects in Asheville, NC! Together with volunteers from RTX, we’ll work to enhance outdoor learning spaces and create a fun, welcoming environment for local youth.

Potential Projects May Include:
> Updating and improving the pollinator garden
> Improving the playground area by painting blacktop games
> Expand outdoor STEAM area to compliment current indoor lab

Come ready to make a difference, connect with fellow volunteers, and leave a lasting mark on the Asheville community! Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the day.

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
