Event overview

🚲 Volunteer Opportunity with The Atlanta Platoon! ⚡️ Join us on May 16th in Supporting the OLD NATIONAL CRUISES for an exciting hands-on project — converting old-school bikes into electric bikes for H.E. Holmes Elementary school's STEM program!
We're working with 4th and 5th grade students to bring science and engineering to life, and we need YOUR help to make it happen.

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Come for any portion of the day — every bit helps!)
🔌 Electrical knowledge? Please email us before the event so we can coordinate how best to use your skills.

The bike conversion workshop will run from 9 AM to Noon. Then stick around to cheer on the students as they race their new electric bikes during their end-of-year Field Day in the afternoon. It’s going to be a blast!
Let’s build, learn, and ride together — and help inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
💥 Sign up today and make a difference!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
