You're Invited! Help Build an Outdoor Classroom at MLK Jr. Middle School

Join Us for a Day of Community & Creativity!

We’re building an outdoor classroom in the garden at MLK Jr. Middle School, and we need your help! This special project will provide students with a beautiful space for hands-on learning, environmental education, and outdoor exploration. Whether you have construction experience or just a willingness to lend a hand, we’d love for you to join us!
What to Expect: ✔️ Hands-on building and assembling outdoor seating and structures ✔️ Gardening and beautification tasks ✔️ Fun and teamwork with fellow volunteers ✔️ Refreshments and snacks provided

What to Bring: 🔨 Work gloves, if you have them 🌿 Comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes and wear your TMC Shirt!!! (if you got one) 😊 A great attitude and willingness to help!

Come be a part of this exciting project and help create a lasting space for students to learn and grow!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
