Wreaths Across America Event

Wreaths Across America - Kansas City Platoon and CarMax

Join the Kansas City Platoon and CarMax on Saturday, December 14th, at 11:00 AM, for a meaningful Wreaths Across America event at the National WWI Museum (2 Memorial Drive, Kansas City, MO). Together, we will honor and remember our veterans by laying wreaths and speaking their names aloud—a powerful way to reflect on their legacy.

Meet outside the museum 15 minutes prior to the ceremony beginning at 11:00 AM. This event offers a chance to connect with fellow veterans and community supporters, share stories, and reflect on the mission of the Kansas City Platoon.

We hope to see you there, and we hope you get involved!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
