Join Us This January for #LegacyofService: Honoring MLK Day with Action!

This January, The Mission Continues is calling you to serve in celebration of The Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service through #LegacyofService!

MLK Day is more than a day off—it's a day to honor those who have fought and continue to fight for equality and justice, both in and out of uniform. We recognize the impact of activism and the power of citizens working together for a brighter future. While we've made great strides, there's still work to be done, and veterans are uniquely suited to lead this positive change.

Join us in fighting food insecurity as we assist Reach City Church with their food distribution efforts. Together, we’ll unload a food truck, organize pallets, and set up an efficient assembly-line food packaging station. Once prepared, we’ll distribute food to families in need through a drive-thru system. Some tasks may require lifting up to 40 lbs, and participants should expect to be standing for the duration of the event. Additionally, we may help with counting vehicles and families to ensure the distribution runs smoothly. Let’s come together to make a tangible impact in our community!
This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our everyday heroes and honor Dr. King's dream of equality. All ages and skill levels are welcome—let's make a difference together!
