Event overview

Join the DFW Platoon on September 14th as we honor the lives lost and the spirit of sacrifice from that day with a day of service at American Legion Post 424. This project is about more than just giving back; it's about honoring the sacrifices of our Armed Forces and uniting as a community.

What We’ll Do: Paint the outside of the facility 2. Retile the floor in the Women's Restroom 3. Retile the ceiling in the meeting hall. 4. Trim and edging trees and grassy area 5. Build 3-5 Picnic tables

Why Participate? This is a chance to connect with others, reflect on the significance of 9/11, and make a lasting impact in our community. Whether you're a veteran, a family member, or a dedicated community member, your involvement matters. Together, we can honor the past and strengthen DFW.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
