In celebration of Earth Day 2024, The Mission Continues 1st Service Platoon will conduct a community service project with our community partner, Martin Luther King Jr Elementary School. In January, we started Phase I of this partnership, to include painting of the gymnasium, hallways, and outside area beautification. In Phase II, we will focus on the addition of outdoor classrooms, as well as continuing the progress of our inside painting projects. We look for ward to having participation from members of the community, to include the staff, students, and family members of MLK Jr ES. Charlie Mike!

Inclement Weather

We will have projects going on inside for those who prefer to stay dry. We will also have ponchos on site for those willing to continue the mission outside.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
