Event overview

I would like to personally invite you and your family to take part in this Friendsgiving event. The Mission Continues in partnership with Minority Veterans of America and Angel Wings for the missing are going into the city and making a difference. Feeding the underserved and homeless for Thanksgiving. JOIN US IN BEING A BLESSING To ensure we have enough food and items for the "Friends-Giving Thanksgiving" Event, we are asking nonprofits, organizations, businesses, and churches to help donate, turkeys, hams (already sliced), sides (greenbeans, dressing, rice, yams, and Cranberry sauce) , and cakes. Other items we will need are utensils, sodas, ice, and water. VOLUNTEERS 7am to 7pm* (THREE SHIFTS) 1st: 7am-11am 2nd:11am-3pm 3rd: 3pm-7pm FLOATERS (can only work an hour or so) Clean Up Crew the Entire Day. Feel free to share and support how you can. Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
