Event overview

On MLK Day, millions of Americans will honor Dr. King's legacy by coming together for a day of national service and dialogue. Make it a day on, not a day off. Please join us as we partner with Starbucks and many other community partners for a day of service and commemoration in Clarkston, GA in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The scope of work for this project includes painting, yard work, and building benches and picnic tables at Friends of Refugees, Clarkston United Methodist Church, and Clarkston Community Center. Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
