What is a hidden gem in your hometown?
The local public library. Every time I walk in there I’m amazed at all the resources available, and at how active they are in the community. It’s an incredible asset!
If you dined w/anyone, who would it be?
John Irving. I’m fascinated by great writers of fiction and just want to know how their brains work.
Which is your favorite movie(s)?
Steel Magnolias
Which is a song(s) that describes you?
Peter, Paul and Mary- Blowin’ in the Wind. I’ve always been a folk-loving hippy at heart.
Which book is on your nightstand?
There are two- Not In My Neighborhood by Antero Pietila (history of how race has shaped Baltimore) and Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry (the story of a bunch of cowboys that drove their cattle to Montana).
What was your first concert?
Chicago (the band), 1988, with my dad.
What is your favorite food(s) or meal?
Pizza and chocolate cake, hands down.
What is one item on your bucket list?
Seeing the grizzlies in Katmai National Park in Alaska when the salmon are running.
