Being able to create opportunities for Veterans to serve in their communities and feel a sense of purpose that they lost when they transitioned out of the military.

Platoon Leader for Los Angeles 2nd Platoon. Prior to that, I served in the Army for 13 years. I have also worked for several Internet startups, I worked as a deckhand on a fish-processing barge in Alaska, and I was a research/teaching assistant.

What is a hidden gem in your hometown?

The walking tours of the city offered by the Los Angeles Conservancy.

If you dined w/anyone, who would it be?

My late father, who passed away my senior year in high school.
