REGISTER NOW for Hometown Huddle with the Detroit Lions and The Mission Continues Detroit 1st Platoon on Friday, October 6! Detroit 1st Platoon is excited to partner with the Detroit Lions and Fox Sports Detroit for HOMETOWN HUDDLE 2017 at Central High School. The school year is just kicking off but the Central football team has been hard at work all summer training for another competitive season. Join us as we help support the team of scholar athletes by providing repairs and improvements to the football field, locker rooms, and stadium area. Volunteer to paint a "spirit trail" on the sidewalk leading to the field, build picnic tables for the concession area, refurbish the locker rooms, construct a strategy white board, or choose from many other projects! At the close of the project, volunteers will throw a pep rally for the football team to share their work and cheer them on before their highly anticipated game against King High! What To Wear
A project t-shirt will be provided. Platoon members should wear their TMC blue t-shirts. Wear layers, as most projects will be taking place outdoors, weather permitting. Closed-toe shoes required.
What to Bring
Water and refreshments will be provided, so bring your great work ethic and team spirit!
Inclement Weather
In the instance of inclement weather, projects will be shifted indoors. Be aware of email notifications, should cancellation be necessary.
