Chicago Platoon

Event overview

Breakthrough fosters the development of the community by building healthy relationship networks, growing the skills of the men, women and children, and promoting the transfer of wisdom to a younger generation. Breakthrough’s men's and women's transitional housing shelters first aim to meet immediate needs of food and shelter through kitchens, on-site laundry and showers. Guests then receive on-site primary and mental health care, employment training, and housing search assistance and placement. The women's shelter's donation center is large, and is utilized by the residents frequently. But they have had difficulties sorting and maintaining the inventory. They need additional shelves, a organizational system and the shopping area needs organized. Come join us as we take Breakthrough's donation center to the next level!
