The Mission Continues Brooklyn Platoon will be going back to transform Carter G. Woodson Children's Park in Brownsville, Brooklyn! On June 17th, we set out to paint benches, sand and weatherproof a stage, and paint a walkway. Even though the paint on the walkway got washed away by the downpour, we were able to get 13 benches painted and the stage sanded and waterproofed before getting soaked. On August 26th, during this day of service, we will freshen up the park again by adding a fresh coat of paint to more benches, the walkway, the whole running track at the playground, and more! We hope to see you there with your passion for painting!
