Join The Mission Continues- Houston 2nd Service Platoon as we help the good people at CloudBreak/US Vets get a start on their gym. The gym will be used by the 500+ Homeless vets who call this facility home. CloudBreak Houston, L.L.C.’s Midtown Terrace Suites opened it’s door in 2003. It has housed nearly 3,000 veterans in transitional and long term housing with program and support services provided by U.S. VETS, Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Goodwill Industries of Greater Houston, Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program, Houston Food Bank, and others. Leasing support from City of Houston and Harris County Housing Authorities through the HUD/VASH program as well as the Houston/Harris County Continuum of Care has offered much needed support to resident veterans.
