Come on out to Phyllis Wheatley on May 13th for a morning of building some benches and flower boxes for their courtyard and front entrance area. We have done some amazing indoor revitalization for PWCC over the past 9 months, now it is time to shift our gaze to the outside during the warm(er) months. We will be building four benches, and three large flower boxes/planter boxes. Two of those benches will be going on either side of their front entrance for a nice place to sit and enjoy the newly landscaped outdoor space (thanks to our lovely Target volunteers the day prior). The other two benches and the flower boxes will be in their interior courtyard, for a quite place for staff to sit and enjoy the lovely upcoming weather. Some come out on Saturday to help us build and create, a good change of pace from painting!
