Oahu Platoon

Event overview

The Mission Continues Honolulu 1st Platoon and the Leilehua High School Interact Team are partnering together on a beautification project on the campus of Leilehua High School. One of the students wanted to do a project where they can do something in service to Veterans. But knowing Veterans, they still have the heart and drive to serve others. Therefore, this project transformed into a partnership between the students of the Leilehua Interact Team and The Mission Continues. A partnership that promises to yield many more transformations in the future. This school beautification project is going to be focused around the planting of Ohia Lehua trees around the campus of Leilehua High School in Wahiawa. The Ohia Lehua was chosen because of their Lehua blossoms, for which the school was named. We hope to help beautify the school and inspire the children to take pride in their school and invest time and effort into their community. Truly inspiring future generations to serve....
