Building Garden Beds at Greene Acres

March 25, 2017

10:00 AM - 01:00 PM EDT

New York City Platoon

Event overview

On March 18th The Mission Continues Bronx, Harlem and Brooklyn Platoons will be volunteering with Greene Acres Community Garden in Brooklyn. We will build all brand new garden beds and be putting a new liner in a goldfish pond. The community needs our skills and to help knock out these garden beds and provide a green space in the area. The pond is ten years old and the old liner is leaking water into the ground underneath. Let's help bring this garden back to life! Can't wait to see you there!! How to get there: The "C" train stops at Franklin Ave and Fulton Street. Then Walk North Against traffic to the sight. OR The "G" train stops at Classon St. Then Walk South past Clifton Pl towards Greene Ave. Make a right along Green Ave to the sight.
