This fall, Red Cross volunteers and our partners will install 100,000 free smoke alarms in high risk neighborhoods nationwide. Sound the Alarm installation and fire safety events will take place in more than 100 communities across the country, providing a lifesaving service in our quest to reduce death and injury from home fires. We would meet at the Riverside office at 7:30 am on July 22nd. The training will begin at 8 am and we hope to have everyone in teams and provide everyone with their addresses and supplies and be out the door at 10 am. The section we decided to canvass and install will be some of the homes and mobile home parks at Mayport. Then around 3:30 pm we will all meet at the park and ride parking lot on Wonderwood by NS Mayport. This is where we will take inventory and all the paperwork will be turned in.
