Home Court with Breakthrough

July 21, 2017

02:00 PM - 08:00 PM CDT

Chicago Platoon

Event overview

Now starting it's eighth year, the Home Court program engages the community residents of East Garfield Park through physical activity and community building. Youth ages 8-19 will participate in a basketball tournament. There will also be activities for the whole family including a cookout, a bouncy house, face painting, and a DJ. The event is held from 3:00-8:00 p.m at Carroll Court, which is on the corner of Carroll Ave. and St. Louis Ave. The Mission Continues will take over Home Court on July 21. Volunteers will serve from 2pm - 8pm, participating in set-up, registration, grilling, serving food, face painting, "running" the bouncy house, arts and crafts, cleaning up after the event, etc. IF YOU CAN NOT ARRIVE TIL LATER, YOU CAN STILL JOIN US!
