Team RWB, Team Rubicon, and The Mission Continues are coming together to help a Northeast Ohio not-for-profit move warehouse across Cleveland. MedWish International is a not-for-profit organization that saves lives and the environment by re-purposing discarded medical supplies and equipment to provide humanitarian aid in developing countries. This is a huge impact in Cleveland by preventing an abundance of medical supplies from hitting our landfills. They have reached out to us as they need help. The warehouse is large and they have significant amounts of equipment - they don't want to disrupt the flow of aid, and they lack the people to do it alone. This will be quite a challenge, so we need to step up! In the spirit of helping a local non-profit and of getting things done, a series of joint service projects will see us come forward and enable them to have an impact at home and continue their global mission from a new & bigger warehouse! Project 1 will see us go to the current warehouse disassemble their (rather large) rack system and move it onto a truck. As the first project, it will also test how we work together and get to know each other for the rest....
