Miles Park Community Center is in an under served area of Cleveland, servicing the community with a food pantry and soup kitchen among other community services. Team Rubicon has invited our Platoon to join them on this project. We will assist by helping this community center get a load of jobs done that are beyond their capabilities. Outside work will be digging up old tree stumps and removing stone steps and fence posts to prepare a field for local children to use for sports, alongside repainting a climbing frame and laying mulch. Inside we will be moving furniture around, repainting offices and corridors, and repairing floors - essentially rejuvenating old and tired parts of the building. The community center is run by the Salvation Army who will be providing lunch.
