Join Chicago's 3rd Platoon as we start the weekend off by supporting the Inspiration Corporation in the Uptown neighborhood. Through its supportive services, employment, and housing programs, Inspiration Corporation assists more than 2,500 individuals and families affected by homelessness and poverty each year - serving as a catalyst for self-reliance. The Inspiration Corp and The Mission Continues are teaming up to continue its mission of feeding the program at Inspiration Cafe by preparing food for its weekend meal services. Upon arrival to the location, head into the entrance with the "Inspiration Corporation" awning, up the flight of steps, through the glass doors and straight back to the kitchen. There you will see Platoon Leader Julio Lopez or Inspiration Corps. Asst. Director Jeff Adams. Roll up your sleeves, put on your chef hat and lets support those in the Chicago community looking to break the cycle of homelessness.
