2016 has been an awesome year for The Mission Continues Detroit. 2016 ended with The Mission Continues launching the Detroit 2nd platoon and and an awesome Holiday social. We will make 2017 a better year by starting off the year with a day of service on MLK day January 16, 2016. Both Detroit's 1st and 2nd platoons will be teaming up to have a kick ass project. We will not be working outdoors due to the weather so plan to work inside where we will be completing some interior painting and building bulletin boards for the students. We will provide a light breakfast and lunch for everyone. Registration and breakfast will begin at 930am and we will kick off the project at 10am starting with words from Detroit's 1st and 2nd platoon leaders. If you can only come out to help for an half hour or two, please still join us, every minute counts and it is greatly appreciated. Our impact will be bigger and greater than 2016!
