Celebrate Veterans Day by SERVING AGAIN in the community, alongside fellow veterans and community volunteers! Indy 1st Service Platoon is proud to support KIPP Indy Unite Elementary and will muster up to help break ground on the brand new school garden and fruit orchard! Kicking off at 10 AM, the Indy 1st Platoon will lead volunteers in constructing raised garden beds for the garden. Tree planting will begin at approximately 1 PM. Join us for one portion, or the whole day! Light breakfast and lunch will be provided to those who volunteer!

What To Wear
Wear layers for the weather and clothes that are ready to work! Closed toe shoes are required. Wear your blue Mission Continues t-shirt, first time volunteers will receive one at check in.
What to Bring
Bring work gloves, hats, water bottles, families, friends and co-workers!
Inclement Weather
Safety is our first priority! In the event of extreme weather, the event will be rescheduled. An email notice will go out by 6 PM the evening prior to the event.
