Join The Mission Continues Bronx Platoon as we prepare the morning meal to our Bronx neighbors! Part of the Solution, an organization that believes that every person should have access to the essentials of life and the support necessary to achieve stability, and ultimately self-sufficiency. POTS’ believes in a ‘one-stop shop’ model of providing a coordinated and comprehensive package of support is the best means of addressing the myriad needs that accompany poverty. They commit that no one who comes to POTS will leave without help or hope. In order to combat this, we will be preparing the morning meal during the hours of 8:15am and 11:15am. So come on out and lend a hand to your fellow man!! Public transit directions: Take the B or D train to Kingsbridge Rd, then time for a little walk. What To Wear
Please dress appropriately for your shifts, keep in mind that you may be in close contact with very hot ovens. Wear closed-toed shoes in the kitchen, Community Dining Room and Food Pantry Be prepared to wear a hat or hair net during your shift in the Community Dining Room Please leave all valuables at home. POTS is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
