Come together with the Detroit 1st Platoon and Wounded Warrior project to help wrap up the great work at RecoveryPark! An iconic landmark of Detroit's historic Poletown, the Chene Ferry market is in the midst of revitalization and transformation, as it returns to its prime as a community gathering space for the neighborhood. Building from the incredible momentum started during Operation Motown Muster, volunteers will stain and seal picnic tables, benches, and raised garden beds as well as spread additional mulch in the picnic and vendor stall areas. Other projects may include mural painting, installing community message boards, and repairing garden barriers, if volunteer numbers allow!
