In honor of Veteran's Day we will be renovating the Ideal Independent School, formerly known as Higgs Carter King Gifted and Talented Academy. In December of 2015 we built our first playground at this location, but there is much more work that needs to be done. We will be replacing railings, installing fences and painting both the inside and outside of all 9 portable buildings. Please get the word out and begin signing up for the event. We need all the volunteers as we can possible. This is a very large project and it will be a full day event. We will need volunteers for the preparation day and the clean-up/tool inventory at the end of the day. If you are interested in either one of these teams please let me know. Please be sure to sign up if you plan on attending! We do need an accurate head count in order to plan the project accordingly and to provide enough food for our volunteers.
