The Mission Continues Miami Platoon will be building a soccer field, and benches for the after school program, enFAMiLIA, in homestead. enFAMiLIA specializes in working with the migrant worker population in Homestead. Due to the intensity and time consuming nature of their labor, the children of said workers do not enjoy their parents as often as others. In an effort to keep the children involved in positive activities the after school program, led by USMC Veteran and prominent platoon member Jacinto Molina, started a soccer initiative which has taken off and proven to be a resounding success. Since enFAMiLIA are lacks in infrastructure and materials, we will attempt to give them a push towards the next step and build this soccer field which will aide so many families in the immediate moment and the future. Come join us in this amazing project!
