ASAP's Veterans Comedy Show will highlight the meaningful work of the organization's Comedy Bootcamp course, which is the only stand-up comedy class for veterans in the country, and has been featured in such press as ABC News, BBC, and Stars & Stripes. Three Comedy Bootcamp alumni - Isaura Ramirez, Mike Garvey, and Clifton Hoffler - will take the stage at Gotham Comedy Club alongside PJ Walsh, a US Navy Veteran and national headliner who has performed more than 20 overseas tours for troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world. In the process, the performance and Q&A session will raise awareness of the critical role that the arts play in improving the well-being and societal re-integration of our nation's veterans.
