Event overview

Come join The Mission Continues- Houston 2nd Service Platoon as we hold a community service project at Burrus Elementary. We'll be taking the challenge of revitalizing this school by painting murals around the campus, planting trees/gardening, building an outdoor classroom, as well as touching up their basketball area/playground. With the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, Higher Impact Ministries (HIM), Independence Heights Redevelopment Council and help from local veteran organizations, we will make this a great place for children/students to continue to excel academically for years to come. Breakfast and lunch will be served. He hope to see you all there!
