Back To School Build

Join Houston 1st Platoon as we help Kashmere Gardens Elementary School prepare for the coming school year and help clean up and beautify the campus. We will be weed eating and re-mulching the courtyard, cleaning up and adding dirt to help eliminate a draining issue, cleaning and rebuilding a flower bed. We will also be installing 4 basketball nets to their existing basketball goals, and painting a 4 square grid on their court yard so the kids can exercise under a covered area. Finally we will be re-mulching their playground so the kids have a good clean playground to return to. In conjunction with our service project, we will also have a back to school drive to help the students prepare for the first day of school. Items needed are canned goods; red, and blue polo shirts for boys and girls sizes small, medium and large; school supplies including pencils, loose leaf paper, colored pencils, and glue sticks. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there.

Something you don't mind getting paint on. Please bring gloves if you have them, if not we will have some gloves on site.

What to Bring

Donations of can goods, red, and blue polo shirts for boys and girls sizes small, medium and large. School supplies including, pencils, loose leaf paper, colored pencils, and glue sticks. BRING A FRIEND!
