Event overview

Three trails, three teams, one mission. The Mission Continues, DC 4th Platoon invites you to take part in our National Trails Day Service Project with our partners, the National Park Service, and exciting new adjacent units! Operation Trailblazers will be a unique Service Event during which three teams will deploy to Fort Dupont Park to overhaul trails in serious need of maintenance, and build new trails throughout the forest. Join us as we lead through the forest so others may follow. It will be a day chock-full of teamwork, laughter, hard work, and accomplishment!

What To Wear

Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! We recommend long pants and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Wear your Mission Continues t-shirt if you have one. We will have shirts on hand if anyone needs one.

What to Bring

Your energy and determination. Maybe a change of clothes as well.

Inclement Weather

Rock and roll, rain or shine!

Please use the address: Fort Dupont Dr SE, Washington, DC 20019 in your GPS. If you have trouble locating the Center take Ft Davis Dr SE and then turn onto Ft Dupont drive, you will see the center on your right about 1/4 mile down the road.
