Service Project

Morning Star Baptist Church and Hazelwood Green Space (Part 2)

August 17, 2019

09:00 AM - 04:00 PM EDT

Pittsburgh Platoon

Event overview

Join the Hazelwood Platoon in collaboration with our partners, The Morningstar Baptist Church and Grounded Strategies, as we put the finishing touches on the memorial project we started in May, which honored the legacies of George Thomas; Army Veteran, and community advocate, Min Rena Fuller. Help us to uphold their commitment to leadership and service! The Hazelwood Platoon, alongside our partners, and volunteers from the greater Hazelwood community will be: painting; finishing a shelving unit; fixing the awning of the church; building picnic tables; laying gravel and mulch; and much, much more! All ages and abilities welcomed. Donuts, coffee, water, and lunch will be provided, so please register to allow us to have enough food.
