Help us prep for our 9/11 Day of Service project! We will be honoring 9/11 with a project at Crossroads Community Services. Crossroads’ mission is to nourish Dallas County’s low-income families by providing nutritious food and supportive education. Crossroads has inherited the North Texas Food Bank’s South Dallas location and this new space offers them an additional 45,000 sq. ft. to better serve more people facing food insecurity. We will help make this new space their own! We will prep for painting and doing some pre-cuts for the picnic tables and garden boxes. Come out and use some power tools! Lunch is on us. We are hosting this event in conjunction with Communities Foundation of Texas. Opening remarks and breakfast will be from 8a to 9:30a at CFT: 5500 Caruth Haven Ln, Dallas TX 75255.
