Join us on Saturday, July 27th, at Moody Park for a Walk, Zumba, and a Community food fair. 3rd Platoon will volunteer at the Step Health Day Event and assist with other activities organized by Memorial Hermann. Step Healthy Day is a free family event in which participants will learn the benefits of exercise and how to choose healthy foods to maintain and improve their health. The program will also have the added benefit of teaching residents how to use the park grounds to facilitate greater utilization of community cohesion. We are seeking volunteers to assist us with our Farmers Market Set-Up, registrations, crowd control, and distribution. Orientation is held on the day of, an hour prior to the starting time of the event.
