Join The Mission Continues' Boston Platoon on Saturday, Sept. 28th for a day of service at The Home for Little Wanderers- Somerville Village Program. The innovative program is designed to enable young women who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness to pursue post-secondary education by providing housing, therapeutic, emotional, and educational supports. Together will be creating two new community spaces for the young women at the program for fitness and recreation. We will be putting down fitness flooring and new lighting for a yoga/fitness room on the 3rd floor to promote health and wellness. On the first floor we will be painting and updating the art and social room to create a space that supports creative expression and community-building. We will have water, snacks, and lunch for volunteers.
