Come join us at the Aldridge Post Office located at 400 NW 7th Ave from 2pm to 5pm as we support the annual food drive in support of the Salvation Army. We will sort food products collected by the mail carriers and prepare it for pick up. Each year the National Association of Letter Carriers assists local families throughout our nation by collecting foods donated by local customers. Last year more than 71 million pounds of non-perishable food that was collected from generous postal patrons and delivered to community food banks, pantries and shelters, providing families in need with a lifeline of basic nutrition. Our partners at The Fort Lauderdale Salvation Army are able to assist local families and homeless veterans with these donations. Due to the work being done on a USPS facilities dock, no children under the age 12 are allowed for this project. Hope to see you out there!
