Come serve with Washington D.C. 3rd Service Plt in coordination with The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), George Mason Veteran Patriots, The Travis Manion Foundation, A Place To Stand Org and Mt. Vernon HS. It's time to return to the Mt. Vernon HS Garden! rain, snow or shine, we will be getting the garden ready for spring. There's plenty to do! We will be mulching the garden area, painting trees to protect them, building a performance stage, and more! This garden servers the local community by donating food to those in need. Managed by the Mt. Vernon H.S. Garden Club who work around the school year to ensure the garden is maintained and harvested. This is a unique opportunity to give back and be apart of Operation Legacy and work side by side with great service organizations.
