On Saturday, May 4th, The Mission Continues Lowell Platoon is teaming up with Comcast to host a Comcast Cares Day of Service to support Mill City Grows. We are working to pull together a group of 50+ volunteers for 10 projects taking place at the Mill City Grows Big Farm including building a new lean-to, expanding the wash station, planting, curing and hardening work tables, building shelving and partitions, assembling a new picnic table, and more! This is a family-friendly project for ages 10+, and lunch will be provided.

If you have garden gloves please bring them--we will have some pairs, but we're expecting a big group. Also, if you have a reusable water bottle please bring it!

There's plenty of parking near the urban farm. The best way to get there is to put Wedgewood Circle, Lowell, MA into your GPS and you'll see TMC signs that'll direct you to the farm.
