Cuyahoga Valley National Park

**Update** New date for the event is August 3rd. Join us for a day of service and social fun in Cuyahoga Valley National Park! Through a partnership created last Veterans Day, the platoon will head back to the national park to continue work on the trails around their Environmental Education Center, but this time it will be followed up by an afternoon social with kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland! Social activities for the afternoon will include free fishing for the kids, short loop hikes, lots of games and activities, a picnic lunch and possibly s'mores! Families are welcome to attend one or both parts of the day so come out and make a difference in the park in the morning and a kids life in the afternoon! Tentative schedule (subject to change): 8:00-8:30 - Arrival/Registration for Project 8:30-8:45 - Opening Remarks 8:45 - Service Project Start 12:15 - Service Project End 12:15-1:00 - Lunch/Transition to Social Event Site 1:00 - Boys & Girls Club Kids Arrive for Social 4:00 - Social Ends
