KEEPING HARLEM GREEN COMPOST BIN BUILD WITH HARLEM GROWN!

December 01, 2018

11:00 AM - 03:00 PM EST

New York City Platoon

Event overview

Composting is a big part of what Harlem Grown does to keep East Harlem green. It is a vital part of sustainable urban farming. Harlem Grown not only composts to help the environment, but teaches kids to do it as well. They learn the benefits not only for the environment, but as a way to grow nutrition food right here in Harlem. Due to Harlem Grown's growth, they need another one for farm maintenance and to teach! Some come out and help build a compost bin for Harlem Grown. Charlie Mike!
