Be bold. Be fearless. Be more than pink! Once again, The Mission Continues will be supporting the Susan G. Komen Dallas Race for the Cure. The Dallas Race for the Cure is one of the largest of breast cancer fundraisers in the world. Annually over 15,000 people attend this event. This year the Race will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Northpark Center in Dallas. The success of the Susan G. Komen Dallas Race for the Cure® depends heavily on the support from volunteers in the months leading up to the Race and on Race Day. The DFW Platoons have an opportunity to play an even larger role in the race this year. We have identified several additional areas where we can help make this race successful. By volunteering, you’ll help make this event a success, which in turn will help Komen Dallas County fund breast cancer research and breast health services, like education, screening, diagnostics, treatment, and support services, like patient navigation and transportation. Not only will you make an impact in the fight against breast cancer, you will also have fun, feel rewarded and meet some truly incredible people—survivors, family members, forever fighters and more, all of whom have been impacted by this devastating disease.
