In solemn tribute and remembrance of the brave American soldiers who have died in military service, The Mission Continues - Orlando came out to support Flags for Fallen Vets as they coordinated for the placement of more than 100,000 flags within the 517-acres of the Florida National Cemetery. On Saturday morning, I’m looking forward to seeing new members, old members, and community supporters bring themselves and their families out to continue our support in the form of post Memorial Day Flag Retrieval. A light breakfast will be provided at my specially adapted home in Winter Garden between 06:00 and 07:00. At approximately 07:00 our 15pax van will be departing to carpool to Bushnell, a little less than an hour drive west. For those who choose to drive themselves, please arrive no later than 08:00 and our section will be 302-319. The main entrance to the Cemetery is still congested with construction so please consider entering from the Maintenance Entrance (Right on Apalachee Way. 302-319 is on the left) Flags For Fallen Vets: "All flag removal volunteers are requested to be at their sections not later than 8:00AM, June 2.
