New York City Platoon

Event overview

On April 14th, The Mission Continues Brooklyn Platoon is deploying once again to Brownsville to help reduce the amount of crime and to help communities build a stronger more connected community. For this service event, in honor of Women's History Month, women-veterans from across New York City will be stepping up to lead the refurbishment of the playground's track and other tasks at Carter G Woodson Playground. We hope everyone in Brownsville gets to witness the strength and leadership of women living in NYC and the power of what can happen when women step up to lead in their community. If you're interested in taking a leadership role for this project, please contact the Platoon Leader, Wesley Huang, at whuang@missioncontinues.org.
