Event overview

Join the Oakland 1st Service Platoon as we team up with San Francisco 1st Platoon, SF Parks and Recreation, and Hunters Point Family members to do restoration and improvement of the Community Garden at Adam Rogers Park in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Our scope of impact may include, but not be limited to: Safety repairs of existing garden tables Repairs of existing planter beds Construction of new Planter beds Collection and removal of debris Moving tools and organizing the work area Construction of Tool Shelves Spreading Mulch Cutting downed tree limbs Painting Working with children to create garden art No experience is necessary, so bring all of your friends and your entire family!
