Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals. ~MLK Jr.~ In honor of the prestigious Martin Luther King, Jr. we will be refashioning & modifying the Bellwood Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club on the WestSide of Atlanta, January 15. Before then, please join me (ALT 3rd platoon) in answering Dr. King's call by not only serving on the 15th but also by assisting in the preparations on the 13th for this monumental occasion. We will be preparing paint, taping, organizing project areas, and furniture. This prep project will not take long at all, and work load will be light. And most of all, like Dr. King our sacrifices & tireless exertions will not be in vain. Please sign up for a prep day with 3rd platoon &/or 1st platoon. This will ensure a successful turnout on the 15th, as it should be! Breakfast & light snacks will be served. Thank you in advance for contributing to Dr. King's cause & legacy.
