In honor of National Volunteer Week, the Boys & Girls Club of Newark is hosting a Service-A-Thon at the BGCN Clubhouse, in partnership with local community organizations, schools, and corporations. Key partners include Grace West Manor, Friends of Jessie Allen Park, United Parks As One, Miller Spencer School, Newark Mayor's Office, Trust for Public Land, The Mission Continues, and the Newark Department of Parks and Recreation. Volunteers can assist with one of 9 (and growing!) service projects in-and-around the Clubhouse, as well as in the community. Projects include gardening, cleaning and prepping Clubhouse areas, assisting at the food bank, and creating disaster relief packages for survivors of Hurricane Maria. The Boys and Girls Club also needs our help with leading some of the project tasks. If you're interested in leading a project tasks, please contact Aroch at abolanos@missioncontinues.org
