Arlington Platoon, Come out to our Green the Oaks project where our lead sponsor, Lockheed Martin, will be joining us. We will be planting trees along Southeast Parkway east of New York Ave in Arlington to support the Arlington Park & Recreation's effort to increase urban tree canopy cover and minimize urban air pollution. • Date/Time: October 27, 2018 at 9am-12pm • Goal: Plant 44 trees along Green Oaks Blvd • How: Holes will be dug for the trees prior to the event. We will break everyone into groups and each team will be responsible for planting, staking or setting the trees with tree protection rings. We’ll work in teams to ensure quality tree planting! And afterwards, we’ll have lunch!!
