Event overview

Hi there, Service Warriors! The time has come for us to celebrate yet another amazing year with The Mission Continues 5th Platoon. We will be showering you all with thanks (in the form of barbecue!) for your hard work, celebrating EJ’s great leadership, and welcoming Q as our next Platoon Leader! Date: Wednesday, October 18th Time: 6pm-9pm Location: Garden District Beer Garden (1801 14th Street NW, Washington, DC) *Food on us, alcohol separate We have so much to be proud of. This year, under EJ Delpero’s incredible leadership, we hosted tons of events, from story slams to spartan races, paintball to pentagon tours, and forged meaningful partnerships with fantastic community partners, including Washington Youth Garden, East Capitol Urban Farm, and Hendley Elementary school. Most importantly, we all got out there, worked hard, and made a difference. We are so grateful for all of you, and we want to celebrate you! We’re sad to see EJ leave as platoon leader, but don’t worry - we’re sure he’ll be there every step of the way as a platoon member going into next year. And, we could not be more excited or proud to welcome one of our  most active volunteers, Q, as our intrepid new platoon leader! Please come out with us to enjoy great company, great stories, and great beer! See you there, DC 5th Platoon Leadership Team
